Woman Dies in Escambia County Ala. Wreck

ESCAMBIA Ala. A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:25 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2025, has claimed the life of an Atmore woman.

Debra S. Albritton, 63, was fatally injured when the 2007 Toyota Camry she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

Multiple law enforcement agencies, fire department personnel, and EMS responded to the wreck.

Albritton was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Booneville Road near Long Hollow Road, approximately 16 miles North of Atmore, in Escambia County.
