Person Flees Serious Wreck on Intestate 10

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. A crash on Interstate 10 near Rosinton and the 55 mile-marker, led to shutting down the highway for more than an hour Thursday night, October 8th, 2026.
Police said that the multi-vehicle wreck occurred at approximately 10 p.m. and left debris scattered across the roadway and damaged vehicles on both sides of the interstate.
Several local fire departments, EMS, and aLEA responded to the wreck.
It was also reported that one of the drivers fled the scene, fleeing on foot and he was later found and brought back to the scene.
One person received minor injuries and was treated by EMS.
The accident remains under investigation by ALEA.
