Mobile County Deputies Arrest Two People After High-Speed Pursuit of Stolen Truck

MOBILE, AL. A high-speed police pursuit that started in Mississippi ended in Mobile County Tuesday with two people taken into custody.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said that a truck was stolen in Mississippi, with Charles Mott behind the wheel intentionally rammed multiple sheriff’s vehicles before being taken into custody along with passenger Stephanie Valentine.
The sheriff’s office was notified were heading their way and deputies pursued the truck from the area of Moffett Road and Schillinger Road to the area of Snow Road and Brooklyns Way after deputies attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle.
Deputies attempted to stop the 2014 Chevrolet C35 because it matched the description of a vehicle reportedly stolen out of George County, Mississippi.
The pair is also accused of robbing a 66-year-old in Wilmer, hitting the victim in the head and stealing more than a thousand dollars.
Currently both are in Mobile County jail and face more charges in Mississippi.
