MOBILE, AL. A high-speed pursuit that reached speeds of 120 miles per hour, now leaves the driver accused of fleeing and shooting without regard for the safety of others.
Mobile police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Corey Bailey-Walker, but he refused to pull over.
The chase started, police said when officers responded to a burglary call near Dauphin Island Parkway and Boykin when they saw Bailey-Walker fire a gun and take off.
Police say he later threw the gun out of the window during the chase.
Walker was eventually stopped on Hamilton Road near Dauphin Island Parkway and arrested.
He has been charged with discharging a gun, reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, and tampering with physical evidence.
Walker had a total bond of $19,000 with a $300 cash component for one of the charges and has since bonded out of jail.
