36-Year-Old Alabama Woman Dies After Hitting Tree in Escambia County

ESCAMBIA COUNTY Fla.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a serious wreck on Interstate 10 on Saturday, September 28, 2025.

EMS, fire personnel, and other first responders were also dispatched to the crash at mile marker six.

Troopers stated that a 36-year-old Alabama woman ran off the roadway and collided with a tree.

“The driver was transported from the scene by EMS and pronounced deceased at the hospital,” FHP said.

The Florida Highway Patrol has not released the driver’s name.
