1 Shot, 1 Cut By Glass in Downtown Mobile Incident

MOBILE, AL. A shooting in the Mobile Entertainment District overnight has left two people with injuries, and the Mobile Police is investigating the incident.
Mobile Police is reporting that the shooting occurred on St. Francis and Franklin Street in a parking lot at around 2:45 a.m. early Sunday morning.
Police said that one man was shot but has non-life-threatening injuries, and that a second person was cut by glass.
Multiple vehicles were also struck by bullets.
Several people whose cars were parked in the lot couldn’t leave while police conducted their investigation.
The area was taped off with crime scene tape, and several streets were also closed down during the investigation.
Police continue to investigate the incident, and at this time, no arrests have been announced.
