1 Person Dies in Mobile Plane Crash

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to a plane crash Saturday afternoon in the Irvington area.
According to deputies, one person is dead.
A law enforcement official said that it was a small plane and that the crash occurred in the woods south of the Roy E Ray Airport.
MCSO officials said the Federal Aviation Administration is handling the investigation.
