Woman Arrested After Shooting in Foley
FOLEY Ala.

At approximately 8:45 a.m., the Foley police received a call of a shooting, and officers responded to the 1000 block of East Bullard Avenue.
The Foley Fire Department and a Medstar ambulance also responded.
When officers arrived, they found a 66-year-old black female who had been shot twice, once in her right arm and once in her right hip.
The victim was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola where she is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police located the shooter, identified as 57-year-old Sandra Jean Foster of Foley, and arrested her
for 1st degree assault.
The Foley Police Department stated that they can confidently say that this was an isolated incident that occurred after an argument between the two women who knew each other.
There is no threat to the public at this time.
The victim should recover and be released from the hospital soon.
