Washington County Crash Leaves Two Dead

WASHINGTON COUNTY, AL. Two people have lost their lives in a vehicle wreck that occurred in Washington County.
According to ALEA, state troopers are investigating the crash that occurred on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m., about 3 miles east of Tibbie on Howardtown Road.
Luke Dorman, 22, was killed when his 2004 Toyota Tundra left the road and hit a tree, according to officials.
A passenger, Melissa Laton, 21, was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, but died Thursday. Both were from Tibbie.
Troopers said neither victim was wearing seatbelts.
