Troopers Investigating Double Fatality Traffic Collision

MOBILE COUNTY, AL. A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. Friday Jan. 2, has claimed two lives and injured two juveniles.
Mary McKee Vise, 71, of Citronelle was fatally injured when the 2011 Toyota Rav4 she was driving collided head-on with the 2011 Kia Forte driven by Clifford Wayne Stokes, 51, of Theodore.
Stokes was also fatally injured as a result of the crash. Both Vise and Stokes were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two 10-year-old juveniles, who were both passengers in the Rav4, were injured and transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Old Pascagoula Road, approximately three miles west of the Mobile city limits, in Mobile County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate this traffic fatality.
