Traffic Stop by Deputies Leads to Felony Arrest

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. A traffic stop in Mobile County has led to the arrest of a wanted person on felony charges.
Mobile County deputies spotted a driver committing a traffic infraction and pulled the vehicle over at around 12:30 a.m. Friday in the area of Old Pascagoula Road and March Road.
While conducting their investigation deputies found that a front seat passenger, identified as Scott Howard, 56, had an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. While deputies took Howard into custody, a search of the suspect resulted in the discovery of approximately 46.6 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.
Howard has been charged with the following:
Felony Warrant – Possession of a Controlled Substance
Trafficking in Methamphetamine (ICE)
Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree
Howard was booked into the Mobile Metro Jail.
