Three Security Officers Murdered in Separate Incidents

Three on-duty security officers have been murdered in three separate incidents and in three different states.
A fourth died of a heart attack while working a special event.

Security officer Anthony Egeonu, a husband and father of three was shot to death early Saturday morning after confronting two shoplifters at a Dallas CVS store.
Police said that one of the shoplifters immediately pulled a handgun and opened fire on the security officer. Both shoplifters fled and are on the run.

Another shooting overnight occurred in New Jersey at a night club.
Gabe Santiago was shot just before 2 a.m.
The shooter is not in custody.

A third security officer was murdered at an Oakland California hospital. While on duty, a person that Curtis Haynes, 28, may have known accosted Haynes and became confrontational and someone fired several gunshots.
A woman has been taken into custody, but she may not be the shooter police said.
