Three People Arrested on Drug, Gun Charges At Area Motel
MOBILE COUNTY, Ala.
A raid at a Mobile County motel resulted in several arrests and the recovery of drugs and charges of endangering a child.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that Kaylin Ann Hoffman, Jaden Christopher Little, and Santarius Jaraveon Hines were arrested after serving a search warrant on the motel room located at the Baymont Motel.
Deputies responded to the motel on October 25th after receiving a tip that two of the suspects had bragged about participating in a shooting.
After conducting a search of the room and a vehicle deputies found approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine, 3 grams of analogy marijuana.
Two firearms including an AR-style pistol and a S&W handgun was also recovered along with extra ammunition and magazines.
The following persons were arrested and face multiple charges including:
Hoffman: probation revocation, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, chemical endangerment of a child, and possession of drug paraphernalia
Little: chemical endangerment of a child, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing justice using a false identity, possession of a controlled substance, and three warrants
Hines: second-degree possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance (20 presumed fentanyl pills were found in his vehicle)
The infant was released to a family member, and Hoffman, Little, and Hines were taken to the Mobile Metro Jail, according to the release.
Hoffman and Little are still in custody as of publication, and Hines has been released.
