SATSUMA, Ala. An investigation is underway after a teenager reported to the Satsuma Police that a man attempted to abduct her.
Chief Troy Willcutt stated that a white man in his 30s with tan skin approached her in his single-cab pickup truck as she walked down 3rd street.
Police said the man grabbed the girl’s arm and tried to pull her into the truck, but the girl was able to get away.
The man was also described to have short dark hair with bangs.
Willcutt said the red paint on the truck was slightly faded and was similar in size to a Ford Ranger.
A police “look-out” was sent out to local police departments, and Willcutt said that this is an active investigation.
