Skeletal Remains Found Under I165 Bridge

PRICHARD, Ala.
Police received a call at around 2:40 p.m. about the remains of a person being found under a bridge at the I-165 off-ramp near Bay Bridge Road on Wednesday.
Police officers from the Pritchard Police, ALEA troopers and the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to the location.
Skeletal remains were found, and investigators were at the scene for several hours.
Law enforcement believes that the decomposed body may have been there for months if not longer.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Crime Unit and forensics responded and processed the scene for evidence, identifying information and other items which will all be sent to the Department of Forensic Science.
The cause of death remains and unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
