Mobile Police Investigating Fatal Shooting

MOBILE, AL.
On Thursday, November 20, 2025, at approximately 12:41 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Belle Wood Drive W. in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased from a gunshot wound inside of the home.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim was inside of a neighbor’s home armed with a knife prior to the homeowner shooting him.
The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
We have concluded our investigation and have handed it over to the DA’s Office.
