Mobile Police Charge Man in Calhoun Road Homicide

MOBILE, AL. The Mobile police have announced that they have made an arrest in the Calhoun Road homicide.
Michael Flores Sr. was murdered on Wednesday night.
Police and the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department responded to the 4700 block of Calhoun Road shortly after 11 p.m. regarding an assault and found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound inside the residence, according to authorities.
He was rushed to an area hospital, where he died.
Homicide investigators also responded to the crime scene and within just a few hours arrested Cody Speese and charged him with murder.
Speese, 19, of Theodore, was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail Thursday afternoon. His bond hearing is set for Friday.
Police have not released a motive in the killing.
