Driver Crashes Deep Into the Woods Off I-10

LOXLEY Ala. A vehicle lost control and flew off Interstate 10 deep into the woods near Mile Marker 40 in Loxley Thursday afternoon at around 3:34 p.m.

911 callers reported seeing the driver suddenly disappear into the woods.

Loxley Fire Department, EMS, and law enforcement were dispatched to the area, and arriving firefighters located the vehicle with the driver still inside.

Firefighters assisted the person out of the vehicle and back onto the pavement and checked her medical condition.

ALEA is investigating the crash. No serious injuries were reported.
