11 Arrested in Loxley Immigration Raid

LOXLEY Ala. Local and federal law enforcement conducted an immigration raid this morning at around 8:30 at the site of the new Loxley Elementary School just of County Road 64.

Eleven people were arrested according to law enforcement.

FBI Spokesman Tommy Loftis said the eleven people have been transported to a detention center.

Baldwin County School System officials are aware of the operation and said that most of the work being done today involved masonry, so fewer workers were on site.

The contractor employing the illegal immigrants has not been named as of yet.
