Short Pursuit Ends With Driver’s Arrest

An Alabama state trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic infraction when it fled from the officer.
The driver of the vehicle engaged the trooper in a short pursuit which led them to the area of
County Road 64 near State Highway 181 at approximately 5:45 p.m.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and Daphne Police were called in to assist.

Officers searched the area near the Allegri Market located at 9948 Co Rd 64 and along the State Highway 181 corridor.

Police were able to apprehend the driver of the vehicle soon after the chase began.

An ambulance was also called to the scene.

Police said that the driver faces numerous charges.
