Sheriff’s Office Searching for Christmas Day Murder Suspect

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for Greggory Jowers who is wanted for the murder of John Fabian.
Investigators and deputies have been on the lookout for Jowers since the murder took place on December 25th, 2024.
On Christmas day, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to 9571 McLeod Road, Theodore, Alabama, in reference to an assault complaint. MCSO deputies found John Thomas Fabian, (dob: 8/14/1961) unresponsive inside the residence with significant bruises to his face and neck.
Fabian was taken to a local hospital and put on life support. On December 26, 2025, Fabian passed away due to his injuries. During the investigation, MCSO Detectives discovered that Jowers assaulted Fabian causing him to become unconscious.
Fabian was taken to a local hospital where he was placed on life support. On the next day, December 26, Fabian was taken off Life support and passed away.
Jowers, who was a roommate of the victim at the time is wanted for:
Murder
Robbery
Receiving stolen property 1st
Burglary
Escape
Domestic Violence
