Several Injured in Lillian Motor Vehicle Crash

Several vehicles were involved in an accident on US 98 in Lillian Wednesday shortly before 1:30 p.m. according to law enforcement.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene on US 98 and found that there were numerous people injured, several who had very serious injuries.
There was also a report of at least one person entrapped in one of the vehicles.

The Lillian Fire Department, along with several mutual-aid fire departments and several ambulances arrived quickly and began treating those that were injured.
Two medical helicopters were also requested and responded to the scene transporting patients to a nearby trauma center.

ALEA troopers say that the accident remains under investigation.
