Police Report Large Crowds for Friday’s Mardi Gras Parades-Multiple Arrests

MOBILE, AL. The crowds came out for Friday’s Mardi Gras parades and police in the port city said that officers stayed busy.
The crowds packed the area for the Crewe of Columbus and Krewe de Second line parades.
The Mobile Police Department estimated that there were approximately 110,000 people in attendance.
Police also reported four arrests, including one felony, two misdemeanors and one juvenile who were taken into custody.
Police also towed fourteen vehicles.
Police said that there were no serious incidents.
