Police Pursuit Leaves 1 Person Injured

BELFOREST COMMUNITY, Ala. A Baldwin County Sherrif’s deputy attempted to stop a dirt bike that was driving on County Road 13, but the operator refused to pull over.
The deputy had activated his emergency equipment, however, the driver fled, leading the deputy on a chase.
Additional law enforcement responded to the area of County Roads 13 and County Road 64, to assist in the pursuit and the driver lost control and wrecked.
Both the fire department and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Authorities identified the driver as Dawon Jamartay Holloway,26, who has been charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer, a felony.
