Police Investigating Sunday Fatal Shooting

MOBILE, AL. A Mobile man is dead after a weekend shooting in the 5000 block of Quail Run East.
Police have identified the deceased as Frederick Buchanan, 25.
Officers were originally called to the area at around 10 a.m. Sunday to investigate the report of a shooting in the area.
Mobile police and fire department responded to the home and found one person outside who had been shot. Police said that the man, now identified as Buchanan was deceased.
“At this time, no arrests have been made, but police have identified the shooter as a person known to the victim.
Homicide detectives have concluded their investigation and have handed it over to the DA’s office for review of charges.
