Police Find Man Who Was Shot Multiple Times

Gunfire rang out in the port city Thursday afternoon and police are investigating.

Mobile Police were dispatched on March 6, 2025, at approximately 03:13 p.m. to the 700 block of Highland Avenue for a person who had been shot.

Upon arrival to the area, officers located an adult male victim who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Mobile Fire-Rescue also responded to assist the victim who was immediately transported to an area hospital.

Residents nearby stated that they heard as many as twenty gunshots being fired in rapid succession.

Police are investigating the shooting and ask that anyone who has information please call the Mobile Police Department.
