Person Reportedly Shot in Daphne

DAPHNE Ala. A shooting Thursday afternoon, July 16, 2026, at around 3:20 p.m. sent emergency responders to the 2600 block of Main Street.

Daphne police officers, Daphne Fire and Medstar responded after emergency calls reported that a person had been shot.

A medical helicopter was also dispatched to the area.

Police also worked to redirect traffic in the area.

We’ve been told that this was a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but Daphne police have not released any further details at this time

The condition of the person is also not known.
