Person Injured on Mobile Ferry 

FORT MORGAN Ala.

A person injured from a fall on the Mobile Bay Ferry Monday afternoon was rushed into the Fort Morgan ferry landing where emergency personnel was waiting.

At approximately 4:18 p.m. the Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department and an ambulance were dispatched to meet the ferry because they had a passenger that needed medical care.

Upon arrival at the landing, the person was treated by medics and firefighters who decided that the passenger needed a higher level of care and called in a medical helicopter which landed near the fort.

The condition of the patient is unknown and there were no further details on how the injury aboard the ferry happened.
