Person Falls or Jumps From Bridge Onto Interstate 10

ROSINTON, Ala. Interstate 10 near the sixty-mile marker in the Rosinton area, was abruptly shut down on Wednesday afternoon after a man either fell or jumped from an overpass bridge onto the highway.
According to ALEA, at approximately 3:22 p.m., the person received some serious injuries, and the I-10 was shut down for a short time.
The Rosinton and Styx River Fire Departments along with EMS also responded to the scene.
A medical helicopter was also dispatched, and the person was transported to an area trauma center.
