Person Extricated From Fairhope Traffic Collision

FAIRHOPE, Ala. A serious motor vehicle collision on Greeno Road North near the McDonald’s Restaurant on Saturday injured several people.
The crash occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on August 15, 2026, and one person was trapped and had to be extricated by the Fairhope Fire Department.
Fairhope police, fire department and EMS responded to the scene and a medical helicopter was also dispatched due to traumatic injuries to one patient.
Traffic was temporarily redirected around the collision as spectators watched the scene unfold.
At this time the condition of the person trapped inside the vehicle is unknown.
It was also reported that a second person was injured in the wreck.
Fairhope police is conducting an investigation into this traffic collision.
