Murder Suspect and Sheriff’s Office Employee Arrested

MOBILE Ala. On May 12, 2025, the US Marshalls Fugitive Task Force received information about a wanted murder suspect that had been seen in the Mobile area.
The information revealed that Gregory Jowers, a wanted murder suspect, was residing at 5320 Forrest Oaks Drive.
Subsequently, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the US Marshalls Task Force, responded to the residence and did locate and arrest Jowers.
Gregory Jowers resided at this address with his girlfriend, Andrea Nettles, who was employed by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office as a CRO.
On May 13, 2025, Ms. Nettles was arrested and charged with Hindering Prosecution 1st.
Andrea Nettles is no longer employed by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
