More Than 126,000 Attend Joe Cain Parades, 6 Arrests Made

On Sunday, Mardi Gras Parades brought out more than 126,000 people to celebrate Joe Cain Day.
Thousands of visitors and locals alike enjoyed the festivities and food as well as the parades themselves.
The Mobile Police reported that there were some issues during these parades and that police arrested a total of six people.
Four of these arrests were misdemeanors and two were felony arrests that were made during the parades according to a police spokesperson.
Police also reported that 56 vehicles were towed for parking in restricted areas bringing the total number of vehicles towed during parades to more than 200.
