Mobile Woman Charged With Murder
MOBILE COUNTY, Ala.

A woman who had been connected to a homicide that occurred earlier this month has now been charged in that murder.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Detectives investigating the murder have gathered enough evidence and probable cause to determine Brittany V. Mentor was a willing participant with Jesse Brown and Thomas Marshall for the murder of Horace Eugene Sellers that occurred on August 7, 2024.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has now arrested Brittany Mentor for the charges of Murder and Attempted Murder.
Mentor was occupying the same vehicle as Brown and Marshall when the shooting occurred.
The firearm used in the homicide belonged to Mentor according to MCSO investigators and during an interview with detectives confessed to providing and hiding the firearm that was used in the murder.
Mentor is being held without bond.
