Mobile Police Say Teens Responsible For Almost a Dozen Vehicle Burglaries

MOBILE, Ala. Two teens are said to be responsible for almost a dozen vehicle break-ins in just one apartment complex.
Mobile police were called over the weekend to the Charleston Apartments, located at 2889 Sollie Avenue, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m.
The caller notified police that someone was breaking into cars in the parking lot.
When police arrived, they noticed several teens actively breaking into vehicles and as the officers approached the subjects, they ran from police.
Both subjects were caught and detained, with one of the subjects being arrested and transported to Strickland Youth Center.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered the subjects broke into multiple vehicles at the apartment complex since July 2026. This remains an active investigation.
