Mobile Police Pursuit Ends in Mississippi 

MOBILE Ala.

Police officers with the Mobile Police Department tried to pull over a vehicle on Airport Road Thursday afternoon.

The driver refused to stop for police and pursuit of the vehicle was initiated.

During the pursuit, the subject’s vehicle struck multiple vehicles including two at U-J Chevrolet.

Mobile police officers and police from other agencies were able to stop the driver in Mississippi near Tanner Williams Road and Orso Road (near Seward Farms).

The driver has been identified as Kathlyne Johnson, 26, of Louisiana.

She is in custody and was brought back and booked into the Metro Jail.

Johnson faces charges including Felony Eluding, Leaving the Scene of an Accident x2, and Trafficking Methamphetamine.

Police said that additional charges are likely.
