Mobile Police Make Arrest in Persimmon St. Homicide

MOBILE, AL. On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Mobile police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of Persimmon Street.

When officers and the fire department arrived, they found one person suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to Mobile Police, the male victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died.

The victim has been identified as Carlos Bogan, 34.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered that a male subject had shot the victim during an argument.

The subject who fired the shots was detained on the scene.

He has been identified as James James and has since been arrested and booked into Metro Jail.
