Mobile Police Make an Arson Arrest

MOBILE, Ala.

An arsonist has been arrested after police say that he set fire to a house in the area of Pecan Street and Belsaw Avenue.

The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department responded to a report of a structure fire Saturday morning and when firefighters arrived, they immediately saw flames and smoke coming from a single-family home.

MFRD was able to quickly extinguish the fire and no injuries were reported.

Police were able to determine that Ralph Hall had intentionally started the fire and fled the scene but has since been arrested and charged with first degree arson.

Hall is currently being held at the Mobile Metro Jail.
