Mobile County Man Charged With Possessing and Disseminating Child Pornography

MOBILE COUNTY, AL. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for possessing and disseminating child pornography after receiving numerous tips about his activity.
According to MCSO, since January 2025, the ICAC Unit has received 8 Cyber Tips in reference to Zachary Brant Hawkins (08/09/94).
On August 12, 2025, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Unit, along with the Special Operations Unit, arrested Hawkins on 5 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 5 counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography, 5 counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute Child Pornography, and 1 count of Bestiality.
For your awareness, ICAC is a national network of 61 coordinated task forces, representing over 5,400 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. These agencies are dedicated to investigating, prosecuting, and developing effective responses to internet crimes against children. Educating the public through the development and delivery of public awareness and prevention programs is also one of the main initiatives of the ICAC Task Force Program.
