Man Arrested After Loading Up on Stolen Merchandise at CVS

MOBILE, Ala. Police officers with the Mobile Police Department were dispatched to a theft in progress at a local retail store, and after arriving, soon made an arrest.
According to the employees at the CVS Pharmacy located at 4453 Old Shell Road, they spotted a man loading up on merchandise on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at around 11:55 a.m.
The man, later identified by police as Adrian Monroe, 61, of Mobile, concealed more than $600 worth of items.
Police were able to apprehend Monroe without incident, and he has been charged with second-degree and third-degree retail theft.
He was released on a $4,000 bond.
