Louisiana Man Dies in Interstate 10 Motorcycle Wreck

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:35 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2026, has claimed the life of a Ponchatoula, Louisiana man.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the area of Interstate 10 near the 55 mile-marker 12 miles east of Loxley.
According to ALEA, Stephen E. Foster, 48, was critically injured when the 2008 Harley Davidson VMA motorcycle he was driving struck a 2020 Honda Civic driven by Arthur E. Lynn, 30, of Milton, Fla.
After the initial impact, Foster was thrown from the motorcycle.
Foster was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. for medical treatment.
However, on Monday, July 13, 2026, Foster succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased while at the hospital.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
