Law Enforcement Searching for Prichard Shooting Suspect

PRICHARD, AL. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jimmy Napier, a Black male, DOB 10/31/1959, who has been identified as a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Prichard, Alabama.
At approximately 1:22 p.m., law enforcement received a call regarding a shooting at Ridge Manor Apartments, 2104 Wolf Ridge Road. Upon arrival, authorities learned that the victim had been shot twice.
During the investigation, Napier was identified as a suspect in connection with the incident. Investigators are currently attempting to locate him.
Napier should be considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public should not approach or attempt to apprehend him.
Anyone with information regarding Napier’s whereabouts or information related to this shooting is asked to contact the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
