Foley Fire Department Responds to Business Fire

UPDATE: Foley Fire Chief Joey Darby stated that the building is a total loss and that no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
FOLEY, Ala. Several fire departments responded to a structure fire early Thursday morning after several people driving by 18160 CR 12 South called 911 reporting that heavy black smoke was coming out of a building.
The Foley and Bon Secour Fire Departments were dispatched to the Big Fish Moving Company and upon arrival firefighters also spotted heavy black smoke coming out of the business but there were no obvious signs of flames.
Firefighters made access to the building at around 7:15 a.m.
At this time, we know that there was some damage but we’re waiting for the Foley Fire Chief to update us on this incident.
