Firefighters Battle Brush Fire During Thunderstorm

FAIRHOPE Ala.

While many of us took cover during Wednesday evening’s thunderstorm and heavy rains,
some firefighters were called out to fight a fire.

As the rains began to fall and the lightning and thunder rolled through our area, a brush fire 
just off 98 was reported in Fairhope.
And to make matters worse, the fire had limited access making it harder for the fire department to
quickly extinguish it.

But despite the severe weather and the access to the fire, the Fairhope Fire Department was able
to make their way to the area of the fire and got it knocked down quickly.
