Fairhope police officer rescues family but loses house in fire
SPANISH FORT, Ala.

A Fairhope police officer was able to get his family to safety but lost his home to a fire Tuesday night.
The Spanish Fort Fire Rescue reported that they responded to a house fire at around 11 p.m.
When they arrived at the home, it was engulfed, and the fire was moving fast.
Police officer Drake Rollins and his family lived there and he was able to get his wife, Brittney Rollins, and their 3-year-old son out safely.
The family set up a GoFundMe, which has already surpassed its $10,000 goal.
The Fairhope Police Department plans on putting something together to help the Rollins family get back on their feet.
