Fairhope Busted Water Pipe Leaves Some Residents Without Water

FAIRHOPE, Ala.

Some areas of Fairhope spent part of their Sunday without water after a busted pipe was discovered.

State Highway 181 from County Road 24 to Pecan Lane residents were mainly affected by the lack of water according to Fairhope officials.

The City of Fairhope has announced in a post on its Facebook page that water will be off on a stretch of County Road 181 for a time on Sunday.

That area was without water for most of the day after the city stated that repairs would take between 4-5 hours to complete.

There was no mention as to what caused the broken water main.
