Fairhope Announces Upcoming Road Closures

FAIRHOPE Ala. The City of Fairhope has announced that the streets in the triangle area near the new roundabout will close for several days while work is being done.
According to a release from the City of Fairhope, the North Section Street, Triangle Drive, Veterans Drive, and Scenic 98 intersection will close temporarily.
The closures are scheduled from Tuesday, Sept. 16, to Thursday, Sept. 18, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. These times are before and after traffic rushes.
Crews will be “milling, grading, and paving in the northwest quadrant of the new roundabout,” the release said.
During the closures, detour signs will be posted for drivers.
Though the weather-dependent work is scheduled for three days, the contractor stated that they might be able to complete the work in two days.
