Early Sunday Morning Crash in Mobile Turns Fatal

MOBILE, AL. A violent crash over the weekend in Mobile has critically injured one person after the vehicle crashed outside of a car dealership.
Mobile police stated that on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at approximately 1:44 a.m., their officers and the mobile Fire-Rescue and EMS responded to the area of Dean McCrary Mazda located near the 1700 block of E. I-65 Service Road.
Officers and emergency personnel discovered a male victim ejected from a vehicle following a single-vehicle traffic accident.
Fire-Rescue rendered aid on scene, and the driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but the individual was pronounced deceased, a short time later.
An investigation at the scene of the wreck showed that the driver was traveling south on E. I-65 Service Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a concrete culvert ejecting the driver.
A police spokesperson said that the name of the victim will be released once next of kin is notified.
