Driver of Stolen Car Crashes at Bishop State College During Pursuit

A police pursuit in Mobile ended with the vehicle crashing at the Bishop State Community College.
The chase started after officers on patrol spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier and attempted to pull it over.
According to police, officers on January 9th at around 9:30 a.m. attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle as it fled down Dauphin Island Parkway.
The chase ended when the driver attempted to turn right at the intersection of Dauphin Island Parkway and Hurtle Street traveling too fast, and the driver then hit the brick wall at Bishop State Community College Southwest Campus.
Officers apprehended Ronnie Nathaniel Marshall Dillard, 18, who has been charged with first-degree reckless driving, receiving stolen property, two counts of reckless endangerment and felony attempt to elude law enforcement.
