Dog Shot, Vehicle Hit by Gunfire

MOBILE, AL. A vehicle and a man’s dog were hit by gunfire in the 4400 block of Binghamton Drive at about 7:15 a.m., Friday, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Police were called out to the scene after several shots were fired.
When officers arrived, a man told them he had been attempting to leave the area when someone he knew shot at his vehicle, which was hit by gunfire.
The driver’s dog, who was in the vehicle at the time, was also hit by gunfire.
Police said that the dog was injured and was taken for treatment.
No other injuries were reported, and the case is still being investigated.
