Daphne Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire

DAPHNE, Ala. The Daphne Fire Department responded at approximately 2:52pm to Delachase Court for a residential structure fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered heavy smoke coming from the attic of the home.

The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department and EMS also responded to the scene along with police.

The fire department that the fire was extinguished and contained to the attic of the home.

The home did receive moderate damage including smoke and water damage.

There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
